Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm originally from Austria, studying in the UK and on exchange in Melbourne at Monash this year. I'm currently travelling across Australia before I leave to Asia for my second semester in Kuala Lumpur. During my trip I want to get to explore as many aspects of Australia as possible, get to know the aussie culture and their lifestyle which I haven't been able to do in Melbourne as it is a pretty european city. However staying with locals is the best way to do that and enables me to meet new people and make new friends that I will be able to host once I'm back in Europe ;)
