About Me
Hello everyoneee, I think it is always a bit weird to describe yourself with your own words :D
I would say that I am a very open and welcoming person who is always looking for new adventures and people to meet. I love spending time in the nature, you will always find me happy when I am outside and far away from the trouble and hectic of a big city centre. In my free time I like to go hiking or cycling (or do other outdoor activities). There is nothing more peaceful to me than enjoying the beauty of the nature while sitting next to a lake, on the top of a mountain or next to the seaside. Sharing these moments with people I love or also with a good beer is the best way of calming down and bringing your mind far away from everything stressful that doesn't belong there. Also I love to go dancing and going to concerts as my body from time to time feels the need to express itself with music and to become one with the rhythm (on or even not on the dancefloor ;-)). As I lived for one year in Argentina when I was 16/17, since then I am in love with South America and I have travelled to various countries there, wherever a latino party is going on - I am in! In general I love travelling and meeting new people and and diving into new/other ways of living than the one I am used to. Being at the same place for too much time bores me and I also think that it is so important for us as human beings to find out that this planet has so much more to offer than the place where we were born and raised and that there is nothing more important than getting to know people from all over the world. Only connecting ourselves with other souls makes realize that in the end all of us are the same human beings with the same fears, hopes and wishes. My wish for the future would be that more and more people could loose their feelings of hate, mistrust and suspicion towards others and that more love and peace would be spread in between our human society.
Going back to the facts ;-) at the moment I am doing my Master Degree in International Relations, Foreign Policy and Crises Management in Cluj-Napoca (Romania) and starting with my studies there was definitely the best decision I made last year! I am totally in love with the city and the country and I can recommend everyone to come over and visit me :)
I guess that there is so much more to say but maybe we will have enough time to discuss them along with some drinks or food (btw I also loveeeeee food and cooking haha). So I hope that after reading this entire description your are still willing to get to know me :D
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In my opinion the places you visit are all about the people you meet. There is nothing that I appreciate more than meeting people from the places and sharing experiences. You could be at the most boring and unattractive place on earth, but with the right company even a place like this can be brillant and become the place to be! I don't travel to just 'see' new places, for me it is more about diving into other people's ways of living and getting to know these places through the view/lenses of the local people. For me staying with locals is the best way of experiencing and understanding 'culture' and there is nothing more beautiful than feeling home at a "foreigners'place". Open your door to people you don't know before is such a amazing gesture of humanity and also to trust a host that you as a guest have never known before demonstrates that we as people regardless of all the ongoing wars and criminality on the world trust between people is still possible. I think that sharing stories and good vibes is the best way of connecting people and making the world a smaller place :)
