ABOUT ME
Usually people say I am very friendly, self-confident and open minded. But I also can be very calm and sometimes I like being alone, depends of course of the mood ;-) I love sarcasm and irony (maybe too much :D). I care a lot about animals and the environment and one first step for me was to become a vegetarian.
I could say a lot more but words can never describe anybody as much as a real encounter :)
PHILOSOPHY
to have no philosophy ;-)
No serious, all these wisdom quotes are used way too often in these days.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I just came back from my first couchsurfing experience. A friend organized two hosts for us in Poland and I was really surprised how good (and how bad) couchsurfing could be.
The good experience inspired me to offer my couch to some travellers and now I am looking forward to have my first guests :)

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music as long it is not too extreme, I have to say I am more the mainstream kind-of-guy ;-)
So I listen to pop, rock, electro, sometimes I like to go to a musical. And I love rock 'n' roll :)
movies: I watch everything as long as it is not a horror movie. But I prefer intelligent comedys (I've just seen Paulette and liked it a lot) or some serious movies like "The chorus" or "The boy in the striped pyjamas" which give you a lot to think about.
TV shows: Game of Thrones, Dr. House, Six Feet Under, How I met your mother, Breaking Bad, Pretty little liars (started it somehow and can't stop :D), Grey's Anatomy, Bones, The Sopranos, and some more
Books...there are too many great books out there to read. Here are some I've read in the last time: The Help by Kathryn Stockett, The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini, The Power of one by Bryce Courtenay, The catcher in the rye by J.D. Salinger, Eating Animals by Jonathan Safran Foer, On a pale horse by Piers Anthony,...
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Every time when a complete stranger does something nice for you it's amazing I think :) Even if it's just holding the door open while you are struggling with all the luggage you have to carry. Or if you were asked by somebody if he can help you while repairing your bike on the street. Those people are great.
Teach, Learn, Share
If we have some time we could cook a real good meal without meat ;-)
