Hey Hey,

I'm Svenson. I am a professional photographer. And I shoot videos, too.
Mostly for clients from magazines, fashion brands or for advertising campaigns.
I am German and moved to Cyprus 4 years ago. I am also spending a good amount of time in Paris,
since that is the place where I do most of my fashion- and portrait photography and videography.

Since spring 2022 I live in a flat-share with Alice, a half French, half German girl. We live in Kissonerga, between Paphos City and Coral Bay, on the south-west side of Cyprus.
Alice works as a coach and writer.

MY CURRENT MISSION?

Meeting with many people and share visions on life, work and everything on top of that.
I am a fashion photographer and love that; I am also taking portraits, mostly of artists or people from the creative field. I write interviews together with those portraits, too.
So, mission question: To keep going with all that interests me, inspires me and provides me a life of the most individual freedom possible.
I am building various businesses, online and offline. One is an online portal for artists, which acts as a community platform, global network and magazine. Also I run a location agency that offers worldwide locations for photo- and film shoot. www.thelocation.agency

... and otherwise just living an interesting life. Establishing a community of positive thinking and life-active people. Life is better close to beaches anyway. Cyprus is a good place.
We have a daily growing community of digital nomads, virtual assistants, owners or developers of digital products, affiliate marketers and code riders of the storm. It's a vibrant and colorful lifestyle here.
Freedom plays a pretty big role in all of our thinking here.
Many people came for a season, but stayed and opened a company here, bought homes, started families.

MORE ABOUT ME:

Always curious on new countries and meeting new people.
I am always open for life in almost every positive direction.
I love traveling and art and books and good conversation over wine or coffee.

I love travelling in Asia and Eastern Europe. I travelled most countries of it, from Ukraine to Kazakhstan, the Baltics through Czech. Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, Moldova, Croatia,... And in SEA I love the Philippines so much. Thinking of buying a condo there soon, probably Cebu area.

Cyprus is very cool place too. The expats and digital nomad scene is compareable with Madeira, Lisbon or other places. Lots of things happening. There are meet-ups and social tables for almost any topic.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like hosting various people from various backgrounds. Traveling artists, musicians, traveling models and content creators or whoever in on tour. There are so many free-spirited souls on the road nowadays.

When I have time I show people the city and help them with their plans and projects.
I shoot photos or videocontent for my visitors instagrams or other accounts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I often hosted many people in my former place in Berlin.
Musicians, artists and travelling models mostly.
Now I do the same in Paphos, Cyprus. 5 minutes up the hill from the beach. :)

Love writing stories and i am working on a new book at the moment.
I love cooking for others, I eat meat and like it, but I promote vegetarian and vegan ideas also, because I think it is the future. I am not too much into party, but like it all from time to time. Smoking on my big terrace or on the open rooftop is okay.

Una cosa incredibile che ho fatto

Being my first time in california and coming down to the beach near La Jolla, San Diego. The air, the light, the atmosphere. Producing and being in the caribbean sea is always ... no words for it. Love. Joy. Pure.
Being in the Geiranger Fjord in Norway and sitting in the middle of the night, with full light around since it never got dark there, in front of my little wooden house and watching the silent lake. .. And well, every photoshoot from a helicopter with its doors wide open is great every time again.
... And there were dozens of great New York moments on rooftops which i don't want to miss in my memories.
