ABOUT ME

I love to travel and meet people from around the globe. That's why I'm currently on an around the world trip: http://svenaroundtheworld.com

I’m originally from Germany. When I’m not traveling I work as a Freelancer in the agile IT area, bringing the two worlds of Business and Software Development together.

Beside my enthusiasms and optimism, I love to learn and explore. So in my spare time I travel around the world to meet inspiring people at interesting places. Which inspire me to ‘Think out of the box’. Seeing things from different perspectives helps me to learn more and to inspire others.

I like cities, but my dream is to life next to an ocean beach and listen to the waves and do beach sports every day. Like to be in the nature and explore it.

Got travel addicted when I studied in Australia in 2003 and explored this awesome country.

Music, Movies, and Books

At the moment I'm reading alot of books from the Rich Dad Poor Dad serial. Learning that security (as an employee with monthly paycheck) and freedom (as an entrepreneur) are different approaches. Sounds very familiar to the traveling experiance everything arranged by a tour or self organised trips with the freedom to change your travel plans.

Beside those kind of books I love to read books from Ken Follet or Dawn Brown.

Music, well hard to say preferable something like Jack Johnson, James Blunt, Tracy Chapman, Ingrid Michaelson, Eva Cassidy, Baz Luhrman (sunscreen song - great!)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a 8 month around the world trip in 2006/07 with great memories. Beside seeing great places the best part was meeting other fellow travellers from around the globe hearing there stories.
