I grew up in Moscow, spent some time in Germany and Iceland. I am passionate about archaeology and take part in excavations every summer since the age of 13.
I am trying to build an academic career and keep fighting the doubts about the utility of medieval history :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that to discover a country it is not sufficient to check local architecture and nature. You don't get a feel for the place if you do not see the way people live their lives. So, I appreciate this opportunity brought to us by Couchsurfing and HospitalityClub.
