To do all the travelling I never did when I was younger.

ABOUT ME

My wife will say one of my worst traits is being logical (though she calls it pedantic!) Is this because I spent pretty much all my working life building computer systems, or is that the reason why I did it? So now retired, but I still build systems, because I would miss it too much!

We spend a few months of each year in Poland, which is where Baska was born and grew up, and where we got married. And as we are both now retired, we go off backpacking each year, partly to get away from an English winter, but mainly to explore some wonderful places in this world.

PHILOSOPHY

I just want to be good to people, and for them to be good to me. Everybody in this world is worthy, and I want to show them this.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Pretty new to CS, but we have hosted some surfers from Argentina, which was great fun. As we live in Wimbledon, we hope to host lots more (when we are there!)

I am a lover of opera, classical music and jazz. I watch the films Baska tells me to - and normally love them! I am rarely without my ereader - the greatest travelling companion!

Ridden an elephant in the Thai jungle - OK, not so amazing, but it was for me!
