ABOUT ME

Friends often ask: when are you going to give up your bohemian lifestyle? The answer is, I might be some time…

Thing is, you don’t open your tiny window from a small flat in London and seeing the turquoise sea from Indian Ocean. You don’t step out of the door and dip your toes into the hottest sand that belongs to Sahara desert. There won’t be millions of wildebeests migrating in your neighbourhood either. How about the exotic aromas from Marrakesh, the vibrant colours of Cuba, the festive samba Brazil has to offer and the most gentle breeze coming from the coast of Costa Rica.

Life doesn’t come to you, you need to go out there and embrace it.

I’ve given up my steady job with prospect of getting a promotion and fat bonus. It was not an easy decision to make but, it’s even harder not to be true to myself. I can’t be content with burying myself in a 9 to 5 job and wondering life elsewhere. After all, we only live once. So here I am, back on the road again; documenting the beauty this mother earth has to offer, discovering stories behind the locals and sharing laughter with other travellers I meet along the journey. Life is good, damn good.

Friends would normally describe me as a positive person with a good sense of humour. I would consider myslef genuine, easygoing and pretty laidback. Fanatic about films, obsessed with food and devoted to photography. And traveling is my religion. All in all, I am your average Joe with no mental problem or criminal record. Happy with life and take it as it comes. Looking forward to meet you guys around the world. Food always tastes better when you share it, same as traveling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had my first couchsurfing experience in Melbourne where I experienced the great hospitality and generosity from my host. It’s a great way to get to know locals and deep into the culture. I can’t recommend highly enough to people who have genuine interest in couchsurfing with great appreciation to what couchsurfing culture stand for, not just trying to get a free accommodation for the night.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in Artic Circle, Findland as a exchange student for 10 month. In the winter time, the temperature could drop to -45 degree. one time me and my mates came out from the pub got pretty smashed and I fall into the snow. As I was lying there, the sky was spinning, I told my mates: damn I must be really drunk! They replied: no, it's northern light, you twat!
