ABOUT ME

Heya! My name is Lukas, i used to be a student of Faculty of information technology @ Brno university of technology.

In my free time (as in case i have some free time to spend on my own) i ride my bike (cross-country like joyrides trough wonderful moravian woods), try to swim while avoiding drinking / spilling too much water, i try hard to become a climber and my ultimate interest is electronic music. You could also possibly find me in teahouse, giving a lecture. I'm a polyphasic sleeper some parts of the year. I'd also say i'm gourmet a little so i spend some time cooking (and eating of course) as well.

PHILOSOPHY

Sandals are good. People are dumb. I'd explain better, but that would be a lot of pages :) I thereby welcome anyone in need of explanation to come drink some tea and hear it :)

How do I participate? Well, I used offer place to stay, but can't do that anymore. Tough question ...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couch-surfing experience was hella funny ... We've been to Slovakia with a friend of mine, to see willsonic festival in Bratislava (Slovak capital), we've been couchsurfing at that girl's ... first day was fun, she wouldn't answer the phone, or let us into the apartment. We were sitting in front of the house till midnight, then got an idea and climbed up the lightning conductor to throw little stones to her window. And the other day ... we got kicked out, because her parents lacked privacy. Sleeping in the park next to homeless was funny and educative experience. Well ... i'd like to say i'm gonna be better host than that :) Experience other than that? I don't have ... i mostly go to the mountains where i sleep in the tent, so there's hardly any need to find accomodation.

Intereses

Well, my thoughts revolve mostly arround math or philosophy. But i like to think while riding a bike, climbing ... or while pretty much anything. I'd like to become a renaissance man.

Música, películas y libros

Best book - Roadside Picnic (Strugackij Brothers), best movie - The Fountain (Darren Aronovsky), best music - Mongoloid (DEVO). This is hardly accurate, i like lots of stuff. But you get the idea.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Well ... i'm proud of most things i do. For example, i climbed the highest mountain of scandinavia in sandals. This isn't very smart. I'm not that good at showing off :) But it was helluva cold out there ... and snow, you see?

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I'm not very skilled about stuff you can learn in couple of days of stay here. But i can teach how to enjoy bad weather, how to cook some Czech food, how to tie knots and how to make love. Comes in handy ...
