About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Pay it forward. Leave this place better than I found it. Find the balance between "work" and "play".
ABOUT ME
::UPDATE:: 2017
The past four years have been a blur of work and traveling to almost every corner of the USA with my tent and sleeping bag. I found some time to explore a province of Canada, and spent three awestruck weeks exploring Iceland with my little sister in 2016. What an incredible place and people. I still struggle to put into words the energy I felt in that beautiful country.
Slowly trying to fly around the world to visit remote places away from the concrete and steel of industry. I want to see what this planet truly looks like, away from the human footprint, before it is all gone.
::UPDATE:: 2013
"Living the dream" is a bit ambiguous but it's the first thing that comes to mind...more like "slave to the entertainment industry"...reading more (currently Palahniuk, Bukowski, considering Hempel)...more time on the porch hammock (of which I have two on my balcony, and, yes, they are amazing and enjoy visitors), more travel, more photos with my D800 (i used to be Canon but Nikon stole my soul), more weekends on the hill at Piedmont, and more time falling on my ass trying to be a rock climber
2012
I have been living in Atlanta for the past year working in the art department on major motion pictures etc etc, just got PADI certified, looking to keep travelling and telling stories!

Music, Movies, and Books
I like minimalism in books and art (books are art, too, right?)...I think there's beauty in finding the shortest route, and, hey, no need to describe every detail--let me use my imagination! Haruki Murakami, Palahniuk, Bukowski, John Patrick Shanley, Hempel, Thic Nhat Hahn...making more time for more...non fiction is nice but I find fiction tends to be a vehicle that hits that more vulnerable point
Always evolving but here are some in the current mix: Rachmaninov, Mendelssohn, Yann Tiersen, Little Dragon, FKA Twigs, Trent Reznor, Thom Yorke, Grizzly bear...
TV/Film: I work in the industry so that can be a conversation topic
As far as food, I'll try anything twice
