Seems kinda weird that my identity is suddenly 'unverified' because I haven't paid them more money.... since I haven't actually received any benefit from this site yet, I'm not inclined to pay more money. Happy to pay if actual benefit is realized. :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love community and people and networking... I have been part of many communities, and I love meeting new people, making new friends and experiencing real culture and connection when I visit places, like the local hole-in-the-wall, a neighborhood walk, and regular ol' local living rooms – rather than having a predictable and isolating experience of, say, a hotel, and standard tours.

It is my general philosophy to leave a place a little better off than when I arrived. :-)

My hobbies include healing arts (including subtle energy work, holistic depth psychology, bodywork..), playing board games, watching movies, making music (vocals, keys/piano, guitar), meditation, personal growth, cooking and being with friends. :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

Books: my latest fav is Wild Mind by Bill Plotkin. Holistic depth psychology mapped out on the 7 directions. Incredibly useful and insightful.

Movies: Avatar comes to mind - I'm psyched to see the 3 sequels that will coming out!

Music: Too many to mention... I like most styles, when they have heart and soul... perhaps my biggest favs are acoustic singer-songwriters with super harmonies, such as Wailin' Jennys.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Just one? I love experiencing ordinary life as amazing, for starters! I'd say my most amazing accomplishment is to create a new group consciousness practice modality that's called The Field of Awakening, which happened after I quit my job, sold my home and 'jumped' into the unknown on my 'walkabout'!

Amazing travels? A couple that come to mind first include the Havasupai lands where blue-green springs create a lush almost tropical river and waterfalls in the middle of a desert canyon of Arizona. And, deep cave exploring in New Zealand - many hours of tunnels, underwater swimming and glow worms.
