An engineer by chance, a traveler by choice. Came from a small town in Punjab and now living in one of the most densely populated cities on the planet. Learning a lot about life lately, mostly through experiences. Have visited a number of places in my country and now it's time to explore the vast horizons of the world. 我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I have only visited one foreign place, but with my family. Now I have planned my first foreign trip on my own along with one of my friend. Never have liked hotels so much, was looking for alternatives. There are hostels and then I found Couchsurfing. Liked this concept at the first instance, definitely looking forward to my first host or would like to call it an adventure.

At my first job, in my second month, Head coordinated a luxury trip for 200 students of an NGO with complete professionalism.

Since my second year in college, I have been organizing many trips. Till date, I have coordinated around 10 trips handling roughly 15 to 210 students, adults. After each trip ends there are always people who come and thank me personally with a broad smile on their faces. The feeling that comes after seeing their happy faces and knowing that I am the reason behind that happiness, gives me goosebumps every time and trust me that is one sense of accomplishment people would die for. Have met hundreds of people during these trips and have learned a lot.

Diversity I guess, being an Indian don't expect the typical Indian culture from me, there are more than a billion from whom you can learn that :p. I am young, so eager to learn a lot with full enthusiasm. Expect a slight crazy behavior, which you would find in a child. Have learned a lot while organizing trips and would love to share all my learnings.
