About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To love and serve people like Jesus.
ABOUT ME
I'm an outgoing, adventure-loving woman who wants to travel the world. I love music (both listening and playing), learning languages (Spanish, Arabic, Telugu, Hindi, Farsi), and learning about different cultures. I'm definitely somewhat of a thrill seeker and love adventure, especially if it has to do with anything outdoors. I live up to my name, which means cheerful and always have a laugh or a smile to contribute. :)
PHILOSOPHY
Jesus. :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love traveling and the best part about traveling is the people you meet which is why I participate in Couchsurfing. I feel it’s the best way to connect with the local people and find out more about the culture when you travel. My work revolves around extending hospitality to international students and so Couchsurfing for me is an extension of both giving and receiving hospitality from strangers who can become friends.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm a couchsurfing rookie, and the few times I went ahd an overall good experience. However I just love the philosophy of a laid-back way to travel the world and meet the people who live in it!
Interests
Even though I'm not studying music to teach it, it will always be a part of my life. Not only do I enjoy listening to music, but I love to sing and play multiple instruments as well. I'm always toting several books with me on the slight chance that I'll have a few minutes somewhere to read something. Ultimate Frisbee, softball and volleyball are my favorite sports, although I'm always up for playing others and learning new ones. When I have any spare time, like really spare time, I like to spend it crocheting or doing jigsaw puzzles. And cats! I looove cats. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing things I've had the opportunity to do in my short life span is go skydiving! It was an awesome experience, and I'm ready to try bungee jumping next!
Another surreal moment I had was during a two-week canoe trip in the Canadian bush where it was just our group and the wilderness pretty much. One night, we were able to see the Northern lights, which were so gorgeous it was hard to believe they were real.
Straddling the equator was a neat experience and my time in the Amazon jungle was unforgettable - the stars that night were the most amazing I've ever seen in my life!
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm always down for a jam session and happy to teach people what little I can on a various instrument or two. I can teach some Spanish as well or cook a meal for you! :)
