Overview
About Me
I'm a wandering soul currently settled in Mysore, India. Bitten by the travel bug long back, I love how it has changed my life and is helping me understand myself and the world better.
An explorer of the self, I enjoy visiting offbeat rural places and hearing stories from different perspectives. Back home you can find me working out like crazy, practicing yoga and meditation, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, enjoying peaceful music, or diving into the pages of a captivating book.
I have recently been introduced to the world of permaculture and I have to say I feel rightfully at home at the ethics, principles and the energy of the community. In that spirit I am currently putting my energy into becoming more self sufficient and engage in more practices that can regenerate our planet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For the fun of meeting free-spirited humans who love one another irrespective of all superficial differences. I love small gatherings where people share stories and ideas in a positive and loving atmosphere. And hope this platform provides more of such avenues

Music, Movies, and Books
Music for me has to connect with me, talk to me and inspire my soul. Loves 60s/70s classics from Bob Dylan, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Eric Clapton, etc. as well as the divine sounds of sitar, sarod or any other eastern classical.
Movies follow the same trend. Love the works of Tarkovsky, Fincher, Scorsese,Wes Anderson, Edgar wright etc.
Used to be an avid reader during my childhood. Lost that habit somewhere in between and is now on a mission to revive it.
I consider Ralph Waldo Emerson as my long lost grandfather and reading through his essays collection is one of the most soothing experience I ever had. Love Thoreau and Whitman also for their transcendental writing. Loves poetry, loves Rilke. Also loves Dostoevsky’s psychological master pieces. And in most books I am looking for such profund spiritual and philosophical inner journeys.
Teach, Learn, Share
I love sharing travel and life experiences. I can also teach you a bit of yoga /animal flow and some other workouts (I am not certified, but have been a long term practicioner). I am also open to any discussions around spirituality, philosophy, psychology , sociology, anthropology, nature, love, etc.
I have a small backyard garden build on permaculture principles. I can teach you how toto grow food at your home and the foundations of permaculture
