About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel and work, soak in the cultures.

ABOUT ME

I grew up in a city, but I'm in no respects a city-girl. I love the mountains and countryside. I love to walk around and appreciate nature, because nature gives me solace. I find myself deeply rooted within natural realms rather than the conventions of society.
I'm an extremely outgoing, friendly and happy person. I like to be positive and tend to brighten up people around me. I'm an excellent conversation-starter and can have a good chat with almost anyone!

PHILOSOPHY

I strongly believe in three things - growth, productivity and free spirit. I like to think that all human beings are good and will do you good if you're good to them.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I was introduced to couchsurfing by my French best friend and we couchsurfed quite a few times in the UK and in India. I'd like to continue to use this as a medium to meet lovely people and learn all about our planet. I'm open to hosting when I have the time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

'So far, so good' is all I'll say. All couchsurfers who have hosted me have been wonderful and very helpful. I have never had a bad experience with anyone I have couchsurfed with before. However, it is important to be careful and know what you're in for.

Interests

Films, music, books, English literature, fine art, trekking, hiking, adventure sport, travelling etc.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm not really into popular/mainstream cinema or music. I like off-beat, independent world movies. I also like to watch short films.
Music is quite the soulmate to me; I love Indian classical, old Hindi melodies, ghazals, jazz, blues, reggae, a little bit of electronic and techno, and anything that I like at the first instant.
I immerse myself in English literature and translated works. Lord Byron is my favourite poet, and I have too many favourite authors and books to list here!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Lived in the UK for 2 years, lived and taught English in Vietnam for a year. Now, I teach English in Japan. Travelled to the UAE, Laos, Cambodia and China.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm very interested in different languages, although my proficiency lies in English. I grew up in a traditional family, hence, my interest in traditions and cultures is very high. I will be able to share everything I know of my culture and even help you experience it in exchange for an account/experience of yours.
