About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is to experience new things, look for fun wherever I go, and explore cool places.
ABOUT ME
I'm looking to have a good time and meet all sorts of new people. I make everything I do as fun as possible. Love to laugh and chill out as well as stay active.
There's nothing like coming back from a day of excitement to a delicious meal and some tasty drinks!
PHILOSOPHY
My view is that life is to lived and enjoyed. I don't like being too busy with work or responsibilities, but just having enough to give life a balance of structure and free time to relax. However, I also understand that work needs to be done to accomplish what needs to be done.
I'm mostly open to just about anything
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Now that I've started to travel a bit more (I moved to China and now the netherlands),I will likely become more active on this site.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couchsurfed in Tokyo but before that I have stayed on many people's couches that I was connected through mutual friends or family. Travelling should be cheap, exciting and I have learned getting the local's perspective is the best way to have authentic adventures so let's help each other!
Interests
I enjoy almost anything you can do outside.
Snowboarding, long boarding, backpacking, hiking, camping, rock climbing, slacklining, soccer, frisbee, swimming, ice hockey, boating.

I listen to a lot of bluegrass, rock, alternative, reggae and some rap. I like almost all types of music and am always looking to expand and trade my collection. Wilco is one of my favorite bands, and so is Paul Simon
Books

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think one of the coolest things I've ever done was winter camping in the Rocky Mountains. We were in the backcountry for twelve days, living in quigloos (snow caves) and sustaining ourselves. We telemark skied to a new campsite every 3 or 4 days and made a whole new camping area. With twelve other kids and a couple instructors, we were able to remain warm and fed for the duration of the trip even when temperatures reached around -15 F. Plus we got to shred down some gnarly freshly powdered backcountry slopes.
