About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Collecting memorable moments.

ABOUT ME

My friends call me a sweet person who is outgoing and easy to get along with. I just love being abroad and think that the most fun part of it is meeting local people. So couch surfing is just the thing for me!

PHILOSOPHY

I collect memories, meaning that I take every opportunity I get to expand the range of my experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I live in a small studio apartment, I don't have that much room to offer at the moment. But I'd love to hang out if you're coming to Gothenburg!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couch surfed in New York, D.C., St.Louis, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Providence, Los Angeles, San Diego, and Dublin and it has been a marvelous experience every single time. One of the best things I've ever done! I also frequently meet up with fellow couch surfers when I travel, and gladly show others around in my hometown.

Interests

I'm currently teaching high-school English and German, and spend as much time as I can (and my wallet allows!) traveling. Other than that, I love food. Both cooking and eating, especially together with friends. I also like to read and watch movies. I'm pretty laid-back and like to enjoy the little things in life.

Music, Movies, and Books

My music preference is modern country music, especially Brad Paisley. I love movies! A little bit of this, a little bit of that, but absolutely no horror movies. Reading is also aa great interest of mine and I read mostly classical titles but also stuff that is more easily digested.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Firstly, I pick living in Berlin, Germany. Just seeing - or rather feeling - the history of the city was truly amazing. Secondly, I would say being in the Swedish mountains in the summer. Such breathtaking scenery and peaceful quietness.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm willing to share my knowledge of English and German (and Swedish of course!) as well as my experiences from living abroad. I would like to learn more about local culture and finding the unbeaten tracks.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Myself! I take a great interest in other people and always love a good conversation. As a guest, I'm very flexible. I enjoy hanging out with my hosts and sharing stories, but if they don't have the time I make sure to give them their space.
