About Me
Hi! I’m Sweta, a Counseling Psychologist by profession and a moonchild at heart 🌙
Spiritual, grounded, and guided by my Jain faith, I believe in the power of connection — with oneself, with others, and with the world around us. I’m a happy-go-lucky soul who loves deep conversations over coffee (always up for a good brew!) and enjoys discovering new places, people, and stories.
Though I’m not a big foodie, I love exploring the cultural side of every city — from hidden cafes to local markets to conversations that open up new perspectives. I’m fluent in English, Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati, and I cherish hearing about different communities, faiths, and personal journeys.
Music feeds my soul — A.R. Rahman and Prateek Kuhad top my playlist. Whether I’m wandering through city streets or watching the moon in silence, I find beauty in simplicity and joy in genuine human connections.
I’m a one-man woman with a deep respect for loyalty, honesty, and kindness. Couchsurfing, for me, is not just about traveling — it’s about building meaningful bonds and sharing a little piece of life with others.
Let’s share stories, smiles, and maybe a song or two 🎶
⸻
Would you like me to make it more playful, professional, or spiritual depending on your travel goals or the kind of people you want to connect with?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe in real human connections — beyond hotels, beyond itineraries. For me, travel is not just about places; it’s about people, cultures, stories, and soulful experiences.
As someone who loves to meet new people, understand different religions and communities, and share the beauty of my own roots — Couchsurfing feels like home in a world of strangers.
I want to share the essence of Jainism, simple vegan living, and soulful conversations over coffee or music. I hope to create memories, learn from others, and give back through kindness, warmth, and meaningful exchange.
This is my way of seeing the world — not just through the eyes of a traveler, but through the heart of a seeker. 🌍✨
Interests
🌙 The Moon – I’m in love with the moon. It calms me, inspires me, and somehow feels like home.
☕ Coffee Conversations – I love coffee! Not just for the taste, but for the long, meaningful conversations it invites. A good brew, a good vibe, and a good soul – that’s my kind of moment.
🎶 Music – Music is my soul language. A.R. Rahman touches my spirit and Prateek Kuhad speaks to my heart. I enjoy anything that feels raw, real, and lyrical.
🧘♀️ Spirituality & Jainism – I’m deeply spiritual and proud to be Jain. I believe in kindness, non-violence, and living mindfully. I dream of spreading the essence of Jainism and the beauty of its values across the globe.
🍛 Jain/Vegan Food – Not a huge foodie, but I love clean, soulful food. I enjoy cooking and sharing Jain/vegan meals with people who are open to trying something pure and nourishing.
🌍 Culture & People – I’m fascinated by different religions, cultures, and life stories. I love understanding how people live, think, pray, celebrate, and grow.
🗺️ Travel & Exploration – Exploring new places makes me feel alive. Whether it’s a quiet village, a spiritual spot, or a cozy local café – I find joy in discovering life in all its colors.
🗣️ Languages – I speak English, Hindi, Marathi, and Gujarati fluently. Language is a bridge, and I love crossing it to connect with people from all walks of life.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love them all. I love reality based movies. When it comes to music I love lyrics more than music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I fasted for 30 days at a stretch.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach:
I’d love to introduce you to the beautiful principles of Jainism — a religion rooted in non-violence, compassion, and spiritual awareness. I also enjoy sharing the unique flavors of Jain and vegan food — simple, sattvic, and full of love. I can also teach basic mindfulness practices and offer a listening ear (comes naturally as a Counseling Psychologist 😉).
Learn:
I’m always curious to learn about other cultures, religions, spiritual practices, and ways of life. Every person is a story, and I love discovering how others live, believe, celebrate, and evolve. Teach me about your traditions, your favorite local spots, or even a song from your homeland — I’ll be all ears (and heart)!
Share:
I believe in soulful conversations, music that moves you, and moments that matter. I’d love to share my experiences as a spiritual seeker, a happy-go-lucky traveler, and a woman deeply connected to her roots. Let’s share coffee, stories, and a slice of our worldviews — with love, light, and maybe a Rehman song playing in the background 🎶
What I Can Share with Hosts
✨ A Taste of Jain & Vegan Culture:
I’d love to cook or introduce you to simple, sattvic Jain meals — pure, peaceful, and full of love. If you’re open, I can also share the deeper meaning behind the Jain way of life and its beautiful philosophy of non-violence and mindfulness.
🧘♀️ Spiritual & Soulful Conversations:
Whether it’s about life, inner peace, faith, psychology, or the universe — I’m always up for meaningful conversations. As a Counseling Psychologist, I’m also a natural listener, so feel free to talk your heart out.
🫶 Cultural Exchange:
I enjoy learning about different faiths, communities, and traditions. In return, I’ll share stories, beliefs, and beautiful aspects of Indian and Jain culture. If you’re curious about Indian customs or languages, I’d be happy to teach you a few words too!
