This is a tricky question!
As a profession, I am a venture capitalist. This is more than just a job for me, I love supporting ambitious entrepreneurs who challenge the status quo. Listening to founder stories is a rewarding experience.

Besides work, I consider myself a 'slow traveller'. I don't care about the number of countries I travelled to, but the experiences I had. I love spontaneous trips with 'Go with the flow mindset'. I usually prefer to travel alone and make new friends along the way. I met some of my best friends travelling solo.

If you ask me to describe myself, I would probably say I am an overthinker! But my closest friends find me empathetic and witty.

I am a mountain person, so I love to spend time either hiking or skiing.

I am a foodie, and coffee makes me happy :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Update 2023: It's been almost 5 years since my first couchsurfing experience as a student backpacking in Europe. I mostly use the app to hang out with the locals and experience the local lifestyle.

Currently, I am backpacking again in Europe to relive the same experience of my student life back in 2018.

I moved out of my home at 17 and have been travelling since. I travelled to over 15 countries and lived in India, China, Hong Kong, Germany, and France.
I am naturally curious about the world, and everything else followed. Usually, I travel alone and prefer to live with the locals to appreciate the culture better. I have been using Couch Surfing mainly for hangouts. I would like to experience living with a host in my future trips.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2016, I left my comfort zone and moved to China. I learnt Mandarin within 4 months.
No matter how many things I had accomplished during the past 5 years, moving out of my home and travelling is the most amazing thing I have done. It shaped me into who I am today ;)
