ABOUT ME
Nan inivèsite m bò isi a yo te genyen kou kreyòl ayisien m te swivi, ak kounye a m ta renmen remesye kominote ayisyen an an ebeje moun ki anvwayaj pandan en, de oubyen twa, nwi. M rete ak 3 lòt moun.
Tá mé ag foghlaim an teanga Ulaigh. An wul Gg agt??
Dëkkoon naa Dakar te xam naa tuuuuti Wolof rekk. Bëgg naa daje nit yu bees ci réew yu bëri. Nit nit ay garab am. Sama xalaat : làkk anglais bi mungi coloniser àdduna lëpp! War nanu jàng ci adduna bii nii avant mu jeex <3
All my party stories rolled into one: I fell in love with the Québécois French radio and a secret boyfriend on the train en route to my all-boys Catholic military school in New York City. Then I learned some Haitian Creole, Wolof, and Irish, lived in Senegal for a year and became a vegan cook in New Orleans.
I like talking (and listening!) about justice, culture, and gender.
I love bikes! I bike everywhere at home, and even a broken neck did not deter me from getting back on the thing, more cautiously, again.

MUSIC: trad, folk, métal, rap kéb, rock progressif
My favorite movie is The Room. If you've seen it, it should be yours, too.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn Haitian (Kreyòl), Irish and Wolof, improve my jamming ability, keep my joke repertoire up to date, and hear other perspectives on life. I'm a good talker and getting better at listening. I've always learned most by talking to people.
My skills to share:
-How to start a compost pile
-How to vegan
-music (not good but love to jam)
-I speak the french pretty good.
-travel advice for Dakar, New Orleans, New York, and NJ
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can cook vegan food for you or with you!
