ABOUT ME

I'm laid back, funny, giving, and I like showing people around the UK! If my best friends were describing me the words 'closet hippy' might get bandied around too. I'm a vegan and a political & environmental activist. I live in a nice house that I'm in the slow process of renovating, with my housemate Nelly (who plays the didgeridoo) and cat Ted (who looks like a cloud)

PHILOSOPHY

Sky's the limit. Perservere and you'll be rewarded. Weekends are for relaxing and exploring.

Musica, film e libri

Music - varied. Trip-hop / downtempo. Elbow. Bits of everything. Will listen to anything and enjoy most of it. Tend to avoid screamy metal and misogyny.

Movies - Austen adaptations. Things with good soundtracks. Contemplative slow films. Other films too.

Books - Classics, foreign language translations, travel, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, For Whom the Bell Tolls. I buy books thinking I should read them and they then sit on shelves looking at me accusingly.

Rescuing endangered monkeys from being held as pets in South America is probably up there.

Happy to help with learning English. I can chat to you about sustainability / environmental stuff. Always happy to talk about politics but won't bore you with it unless you ask me to. My housemate Nelly can talk to you about creative 3D craft, teach you to play the didgeridoo or find wild food in the woods. My cat can give you mouse-catching tips.
