We host people from couchsurfing.com, warmshowers.org, workaway and WOOFing. Guests that stay longer then one day we ask to volunteer 1-3 hours a day in exchange for their accommodations. Mostly people help cook, clean, garden and lawn maintenance and make the place better for other guests.

We are 18 miles north from Missoula all highway, easy to find, but still in Missoula county, right on HWY 93 North at mile marker 13 behind orange cars.

We are an hour or less from 7 different lakes,4 rivers, the Nation bison range, fish hatchery, hiking and camping, and 3-4 hours from Glacier Park and 6 hours from Yellowstone National Park.

We are 10 minutes from the EWAM Garden of a 1000 Budda's,

Orange Acres is a CouchSurfing Community Center, The Orange Dharma Station. We are a free guest ranch for young adults under 40, and nerds veterans and artists of all ages, we are a nerd commune not a hippy commune or religious cult. No hard drug are allowed here.

We welcome people of all races, sexual orientation, faiths here. I am a Shepherd for the Universal Life Church Monastery, we believe we are all children the same Universal God and have the right to worship in any way we like long as as it does not harm others. We believe in helping others above all else. Pay it forward. Do on to others as you would like them to do to you. Everything happens for a reason.

I am a Equalist libertarian and love to debate politics and religion but I can agree to disagree and will like you regardless.

I have a guest bathroom/shower and laundry, wi-fi, keyboard, guitars, cards and board games, and kitchen for cooking your own food.

Outside we beautiful views, we also have a campfire pit, horseshoe pit sometimes I might break out the above ground pool, or you can take a dip in the creek. Come help me feed my sheeps dogs and cats!

Bring your food and beverage,my kitchen has some plates and pans , a rice maker, microwave, sink, fridge, BBQ and stove/oven. We also have a free food pantry if you have no money or just forgot to get something from town. We also have a large garden.

We are NOT vegan, gluten free, paleo, kosher, or organic, if you are you will be responsible for catering to your own mental illnesses and making your own food.

If you are a person that spends all their money on beer and drugs and then want someone else to be responsible for their place to live and food to eat, we are not for you. but if you want to help out i am glad to feed you.

I also may be able to come pick you up in Missoula also if you don'€t have a car!

I can put with anyone for 3 days, if I like you I may invite you to stay up to 20 days, If you pull your weight we might keep you for 6 months, maybe longer. but we cant make you any promises until we have had you here. and all guests must ask to stay longer every 20 days.

I live with my wife , 3 dogs, 3 cats, 16 sheep , and an assault rifle. Women are very safe here, I am a very nice guy who does not drink or use drugs. I passed back ground checks to volunteer with big brothers and sisters, and to obtain a concealed weapons permit.

I welcome actors and actresses, Musicians, foreigners, builders engineers and explorers such as myself. Peacecore, Military, retired military, Sea Shepard'€s, always welcome. We are more hillbilly redneck then eco friendly, but we welcome all walks of life and do use a lot of recycled materials in our building.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As an former ambassodor for the couchsurfing project i go out my way to inform people of couchsurfing and help couchsurfers who are stranded or encounter problems while traveling or couchsurfing, as well as providing a couchsurfing community center where many surfers can get together.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have met such great people on couch surfing. Our couch surfing center has hosted over 31 people at time. its great to meet new people and see those people make new friends with other couchsurfers here. we also offer a workstay program to people wishing to stay longer and/or people needing a place to live while they find jobs and housing.

I have had guests stay overnight and I have had guest stay for years, and some come back every year for Montana's beautiful summers.

we are also on woofing and work away.

Interests

Dancing, scuba diving, Karoekee, I don't drink, smoke or do drugs but I do go out to dance. I have atv's, limo and a boat. i take people exploring, biking and on hikes. We have canoes and float the rivers, We play a lot of RPG games like D&D.
