ABOUT ME

I am new to couchsurfing but I have friends who do it and who recommended it to me.

I'm a straight 20 year old girl..I love traveling and meeting people and learning new languages. I like visiting new places, learning about new cultures and meeting the locals. Couchsurfing just seemed perfect for me!

PHILOSOPHY

I grew up Catholic but about two years ago I decided it wasn't for me. I researched lots of philosophies and the one that interested me most was Islam. So about 6 months after I converted. I'm currently engaged to a nice Turkish man, and I spend half my time in Turkey and half my time in Switzerland. I hope to finish editing my book, related to these experiences.

To illustrate fully my philosophy: I have Christian, Atheist, Jewish and Buddhist friends. I am very open-minded and interested in the world.

I really like the proverb ' Carpe Diem '. I live by that motto, I'm pretty spontaneous. However, I don't like drugs, and don't drink alcohol.

Nature inspires me, I get recharged by the sea. I love the ocean. I like swimming in the sea :-)

Interests

Sports: Used to do martial arts. I sometimes go jogging- guess I'm not that sporty!

Things I like:
- Relaxing in the garden on sunny day, with a good book
- Taking my neighbour's dog for walks around the countryside (we live nearby)
- Like going to the cinema/shopping/museums- I am not too much of a party animal
- I really love cooking with friends, especially Turkish, Swiss and Italian food! I can also cook sushi!

I love Nicolas Sparks' books!
In general I love to read, anything really.

My favourite movie is Erin Brokovich- I admire her character in the film. I like the fact she's a strong woman that stands up for herself.

My music ranges from Offspring to Classical music...

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach: German/Turkish/English...
I can show you how to make sushi and proper Swiss food!
Also I can teach people to read the Arabic alphabet..
I can also always take your dog out for a walk!
