ABOUT ME

My name is Adrien Krause and I've 21. I'm from Switzerland and in July 2011, i ve begun a trip by bycicle on the Silk Road. I m realy fascinated about the other cultures and specially about the Middle East.
And I love history maybe because my parents are archaeologists...
I love my city and my region, Fribourg. Everybody is welcome to my home. I m still living with my parents but they are totally ok with the concept and they are already waiting for you specially for a nice cheese fondue!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I m using CS during my trips. It s so nice to meet pepole, to share experiences... When I will back home( end of August 2012), I really want to host people because I ve received so much that I need to give now.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had only amazing experiences on CS. I ve slept in a medrese in Turkey, snooze on a huge bed in a incredible massiv room in Irak, had a flat just for me in Kurdistan, found a buzkachi (traditional game in central Asia) thanks to CS... And of course, I had a lot of interesting chats!

Interests

I am opened to discover every kind of people and cultures. I loved to travel, I love history, politic, geography, sports and I love the HUMANS!
And the cheese fondue of course...

Music, Movies, and Books

During my trips, I love to read books about the countries that I am visiting. Otherweis, Aarto Paasilinaa is one of my favourite writer.
I use to play piano. I like jazz music and classical as well and the 60' and 70'! But I m not addicted to music.
I love to write. I am written on a newspaper once a month about my trips and I really like it. I ll propably continue my studies in journalism.
