ABOUT ME

I was born and raised in Marin County. I've always appreciated the proximity to and adventure found at the beach, the hills, the forest, and San Franciso.

I just finished getting my BS at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.

Like many graduates, I'm asking myself "what do I do now?" I'm not so concerned with getting a job at a big company right now. I think now, more than ever, it is important to explore all kinds of interests.

I'm a calm person, sometimes people are awed by it. I value thoughtful behavior, respect for others, open minded thinking, working with my hands, creativity, and making the best of any situation.

PHILOSOPHY

I don't believe in any doctrine in particular. That would force me to define my life too narrowly. I believe most situations are subjective to a persons perspective. I believe in believing in yourself and adapting to change as it arises.

I hosted a few girls two summers ago, not through couchsurfing directly. I have no couch to offer (yet) but I'm looking forward to doing some couchsurfing soon!

Music: The Grateful Dead, The Band, The Allman Brothers Band, Beach House, The Prodigy, Onra, Royksopp, CCR, The Black Keys, M83, Aphex Twin, Rush, Primus, Santana, Stan Getz, Bill Evans, Miles Davis, the list could go on for a long time. I like just about everything from bluegrass to dubstep, just depends on my mood.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know a little bit about a lot. Basic automobile maintenance, carpentry, bicycle repair, computer problems, a few chords on the banjo, how to cook a great steak. I reckon I'm pretty good at just holding a meaningful conversation as well.
