About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I intend to see as much of Central and Eastern Europe as I can via hitch-hiking or riding.

ABOUT ME

I'm a very talkative adrenaline junkie who tries to do far too many things at once. I love learning new things about all other languages and cultures and I love scenery and bendy roads wih a passion. I'm currently learning to play saxophone and I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to live my life as closely as possible to the wonderful and down-to-Earth advice offered by Max Erhmann in Dessiderata. Life's more fun when it's fast but only slowing down in between times can allow you o fully appreciate the rush that speed brings. "What life is this is, without care......?" mixed with "Carpe diem"/"Ichi, nichi, isso". Ulimately, I also want to live humbly for a cause instead of dying nobly for one.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I don't yet participate. I registered years ago but haven't surfed or hosted thus far. I'm ready and willing to contribute what I can though.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far via any online correspondence....... I usually just find out about people and places once I get there and I've had some colourful experiences in doing so.

Interests

I enjoy skydiving, muay thai, ninjitsu, the gym, writing, riding my motorbike, playing saxophone, and (obviously) travelling whenever I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

Naom Chomsky, Naomi Klein, Manda Scott, Richard Dawkins, Arthur C. Clarke and many more folks have written some beautiful things to inform, entertain and provoke. I like most alternative music but my favourite is ska punk. My favourite films are: Lord of War, Fourth World War, What To Do In Case Of Fire, and Ong Bak

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Bunjy jumping at night at the Polish Woodstock festival in August 2008. Regularly free-falling at my local dropzone. Blood-red sunsets over vast lakes of mist which covered the fields as I hitch-hiked through Belgium and into Holland. The Peak District in the North of England is beautiful too, as is the view from he Scottish border crossing on the A696. (I did say I'm addicted to scenery). Every day is as amazing as one makes it.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Poland, Sweden

Countries I’ve Lived In

United Kingdom
