About Me
I'm a retired architect of destination resorts originally from Austin, Texas USA, now living and loving life in South America. I lived on the beach in Bahia de Caraquez for three years and now I am living in Cuenca in the Andes, an amazing city.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel, but it is always best when you can get to know local people who can direct you to the best local offerings and help understanding the culture of the place.
Interests
I have many active hobbies including: scuba, long distance road biking, motorcycle, snow skiing, hiking, sailing, flying gliders, travel, long distance ocean sail passages (already crossed the Atlantic, looking forward to a South Pacific crossing soon), culture, history, architecture, archeology, and lots of reading.
