ABOUT ME

I am an acorn rolling down a hill...I just like to go where things take me. I hope to not just see the world but to live in it...to really roll around in it and get it under my finger nails. I'm a fun person, pretty easy going...but I can be focused when the passion strikes me. I love life, the people in it, and and every breath we take. Sometimes I'm goofy, other times wild, but I'm mostly chill...and it would seem today, philosophic.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am eager to host! To show off my city, to learn about the travelers who come my way, and hopefully exchange a little wisdom in the process. Further more, I'm hoping to get more engaged with some CS groups.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

One night in Viterbo, IT...though I've hopped from house to house quite a bit since 2003...and stayed there for year or so each...I promise I won't stay with you all that long though!

Simply put...I'm interested in everything! Especially if I don't know about it...which makes it tough to say what I'm interested in.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

2006: 3 months mountaineering/sea kayaking in Patagonia, Chile

2007: 3 month road trip zigzagging across the USA

2008: I got a grownup job as a K-8 PE Teacher, I didn't renew my contract though because in

2009: 4 months walking from Rome to Santiago

2011: 1 month travel including - Costa Rica for a friends family reunion. Morocco for a full moon retreat in the Sahara Desert with the Road Junky group. Portugal to visit my best friend in the whole wide world. Austria to attend a formal ball with a girl I made friends with on my 2009 adventure to Santiago. 4 months hiking from London to Rome

2012: Morocco for another full moon retreat. Ireland with for a one month 'anniversary' with an old girlfriend.

AND NOW - I'm riding my bike to Boulder, CO to go back to school for my Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine
