I usually travel with my companion Sylvain. We live far away from most of our friends and our journeys give us an opportunity to enjoy time together.

About Sybil:
26yo. I'm a freelance fiction writer (for video games and movies) and a teacher in narrative design and crowdfunding. I spend a fair amount of time reading and playing, and am a pretty devoted consultant when it comes to helping independent developers. I LOVE food.
I was born in Paris but grew up in various cities of the South of France (Nîmes, Arles, Avignon, Aix-en-Provence...). I currently live with Sylvain somewhere near Disneyland Paris. My home is where my suitcase is!

About Sylvain:
27yo. He's a 3D artist and works in video games as well. He's keen on RPGs and deep, thick and endless fantasy books and would probably trade everything he's got for the chance to own an otter. He has the straightest sense of work rigor I've ever seen in anyone.
Sylvain was born from Vietnamese parents and grew up in the suburbs of Paris. He hasn't seen much of France (working on it), but traveled widely across the globe and largely favors trips with friends over solo expeditions.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We've used airbnb for some time now, and thought we should try something more organic than actual renting. We believe couchsurfing will help us travel even more money-wise and allow us to meet much more people!
We hope we'll have the opportunity to host as well as surf around :)

I'd take No Place in Heaven, Tangled, and Shigeru Mizuki's Yokai Dictionary after a good week of hesitation.
Sylvain would take Gladiator and Gemmell's Legend right away. Gladiator's OST would fill the role of music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sybil: Proposed to Sylvain in the burning night of the Mojave desert. Felt pretty awesome, plus there were shooting stars.

Sylvain: Quit his job to spend eight months in ermitage working his craft. Came back with super-sculpting skills and one white hair.

We are super interested in positive psychology.
I'm pretty obsessed with immersive writing, storyboarding and genetics, and Sylvain with 3D, technical art and kung-fu movies.

As a dungeon master for various role playing games, I can lead you into forgotten lands of magic or spaceships or even historical revolutions!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good cooking, mind-blowing curry (by Sylvain) and fairly addictive brownie (by Sybil).
If you're a gamer, we'd love to play together! We also have a pretty long list of recommended games and books.

I can write you epic poems and random universes or show you how to weave them, and Sylvain can teach you about drawing, Zbrush sculpting and appreciating super old school Chinese movies.
