About Me
CURRENT MISSION
You can't see everything in the world in a lifetime, but damnit I'm gonna try.
ABOUT ME
I'm a college student at Parsons The New School for Design in New York City. I love experiencing things larger than life, which is why I made the move to the Big Apple from my small, suburban hometown in Pennsylvania. I'm the sort of person who strives to get the best grades in class, but to also take the most shots. Work hard, play harder. Life is meant to be enjoyed!
PHILOSOPHY
I thrive off the thrill of new experiences. Even though I love my fast-paced life in NYC, sometimes I just want to leave this city for an even more exciting, cultured, and beautiful place.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Offering my artist's loft in the heart of Williamsburg, Brooklyn to those who can offer a similar exchange, friendship, or just a great time.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Made some amazing new friends from both surfing and hosting, so I'm hoping to meet more great people in the future!
Interests
I love food. I think a country's cuisine, above all else, speaks more volume about the soul and emotion of a culture than any other facet of a nation's history.
I go to design school. Creativity is in my blood. Hopefully working somewhere in the fashion industry post-graduation! Paris, London, Milan. Can't wait to be hopping the Big 4 fashion cities.

Music, Movies, and Books
MOVIES: Maybe I don't trust my own judgment, but I tend to watch movies that are critically acclaimed or at least have a decent rating on rottentomatoes.
MUSIC: My music collection is eclectic and I love it. Depending on the mood I'm in, I listen to everything from Beirut to Bassnectar, Ra Ra Riot to Radiohead, Lupe Fiasco to Lady Gaga, and everything in between.
BOOKS: I don't have time to read too often, but the books I've read, I've loved. The Picture of Dorian Gray, Slaughterhouse-Five, Kitchen Confidential, The Diving Bell and the Butterfly, and of course anything by Roald Dahl, who essentially made my childhood.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Attending the 2012 Olympics in London. Taking a donkey up the cliffs of Santorini. Singing at a mass in a Vatican cathedral. Eating spacecakes in Amsterdam. Watching the Bastille Day fireworks at the Eiffel Tower. Riding camels in Marrakech. Sampling nine different kinds of beer in Bavaria. Partaking in a traditional tea ceremony in Taipei. Partying in Ibiza. Chasing sheep on an Irish farm. Living in New York City.
I only hope to add to this list.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach pretty useless shit like solving Rubik's Cubes and cooking rice perfectly. I guess I'm a pretty good cook besides the rice, so if you stay at my apartment or I stay at yours, I'd definitely cook you a meal or two! Hopefully you'll find that I'm more than just these menial skills.
I want to learn how to cook regional, speak new languages, and make friends around the world.
