ABOUT ME

Hello,

My name is Michael. I'm new to the world of couch surfing, thought this would be a great opportunity to meet interesting people from around the world and show them the sights of Sydney whilst learning a thing or two about them.

I'm a relaxed, easy going guy who loves health/fitness, meeting different people and learning about their story. I work as a Personal Trainer and lead an active lifestyle, if this appeals to you then please get in contact.

PHILOSOPHY

Perception is everything. Everyone has their own based on their unique experiences, beliefs, upbringing etc. It's very easy give someone a label or think you understand them, I believe it takes some exploring into their mind, from their point of view before you gain a glimpse into their world. That is what fascinates me!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love being involved in the couch surfers experience in Sydney, from both doing/sharing activities with them if possible and also being engaged in helping them plan whatever they want to do. This includes discussions and chats about Sydney, plus learning and gaining an insight into their experiences around the world.

Ultimately I want to create lasting friendships with everyone that stays with me, and hopefully I'm able to visit each couch surfer on their turf is that's possible. It's a social, emotional and mental exchange of ideas, experiences and fun :)

Update#

So far i've been indoor rock climbing (rainy day), kayaking around Manly beach + lunch and sight seeing various beaches in Sydney by car with various couch surfers. Love being part of their adventures!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've had a few couch surfers stay with me, all have been great fun. Please let me know exact arrival/departure dates as I can't help everyone out unless I know when everyone is coming/leaving.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Diving with great white sharks! No better way to conquer my fears (thanks Jaws & Mr Spielberg). So I set off for Port Lincoln, South Australia to find the biggest sharks possible! Absolutely incredible experience, I was lucky enough to touch a 5m giant and come eye to eye!

I enjoy meeting people from all backgrounds and ages, I love learning and engaging within peoples own unique experiences, understanding what makes them tick. I'm happy to share my knowledge of health/fitness/nutrition, especially those who value health & fitness. This could be anything from playing sports, strength training, running and healthy eating.

A very welcoming clean and safe place to stay and feel at home. I'm more than happy to show guests around Sydney provided I'm available, at the very least help them out with whatever attractions they want to see and how to get to and from there efficiently.
