ABOUT ME

We are very active and adventurous people. We both love snowboarding more than anything. We always try to hit up the hill whenever we can. We moved to Japan this winter just for the insane amounts of powder they get!! In the summer we like to wakesurf or rock climb as much as possible. We both are always up to trying new things.

We are currently on an amazing adventure of a trip that started in early January in Japan and has taken us though much of Asia. We currently have a very loose timeline and itinerary. We are both very easygoing and relaxed people who are just enjoying soaking up as much culture and experiences as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have been pretty inactive for a few months now, but before we left we tried to host as many surfers as we could to get involved before we headed off on our travels. At the moment we are backpacking and maybe looking for some cool people to host us while we travel Asia.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have had some great experiences with couchsurfing. Everyone we have met through this program has been amazing! I really hope the people we surf with are as great as all of our surfers.

Interests

We have so many interests, but some of our top ones are; snowboarding, wakesurfing, ringette/hockey , rock climbing, playing and listening music... the list could go on and on and on.

Teach, Learn, Share

So far we have been picking up bits and pieces of language along the way, but we would both really love to pick up more than the standard tourist speak. Learning the local phrases and slang is always a big bonus!

If you come to visit us in the winter and are looking to get some time on the slopes under your belt, we would be stoked to help you out. If you come visit us in the summer expect us to drag you up to the cliffs to do some climbing!

We will share our home with you. When you surf with us what's ours is yours, so make yourself at home! Hopefully you will be able to show us how to cook some amazing dish and we can share an great meal.
