Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just need a couch for few days in Lyon. I need to send my biometrics data to Canada for a visa application. And there is a center in Lyon.
After one winter at the city, I am going back in Provence working as market gardener, so I will have at least one big rucksack

Music, Movies, and Books

Pink Floyd is my favorite band since I first heard it, during my childhood. But I also like classical music, rock from 60s and 70s, french singer like Renaud, Léo Ferré, Jean Ferrat, Georges Brassens... I am interested in russian music, especially rock.

I love cinema. I can't say which film is my favorite but I love works from Jarmush, Kubrick, Myazaki, Lynch, Leone, Tarantino... I also like sience-fiction movies.

I read a lot. Philosophy, history, poetry, russian classics. I have read all Dostoievsky, he is my favorite author, my favorite novel ever is The Idiot. I love Jack Kerouac too. I read several times in french and in english his books. I also like Jack London, especially his book The Star Rover.

I am a big fan of the italian graphic novel Corto Maltese from Hugo Pratt.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travelled through Siberia and the Russian Far East by hitchhiking during almost three years (2016-2018). I worked as a builder, a horse keeper, reindeer keeper, ranger in national park, etc.
