About Me
Hi! I've been a whirling dervish, work-a-holic, embodiment of business since I came flying out of the womb in the 70s (as Nixon was exiting stage left). I'm the chief creative officer for a branding firm and producer of a feature-length documentary. I also write stuff.
More: I absolutely LOVE wine and coffee and restaurants and cooking in foreign kitchens. I listen to NPR religiously and consume massive quantities of books. I love sharing with people and learning about all the things and adventures and the what's next of people's lives. I love, love, meeting new humans (or aliens, whatever).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was a former Couch Surfer host, but that was years ago. I am back off the wagon. Also, my couch is reported to be the most comfortable couch in all the land. Seriously. It comes with references - I've had people want to move in with my couch.
The couch's sleeping area is:
167.64 cm
1.6764 meters
66 inches
5.5 feet
I am taller than this couch. I am comfortable on it at 5 foot 8.5 inches.
Additionally! I love meeting people, I love hosting people, I believe the connections we make have a ripple effect of kindness around the world.
During the summer, I also have a hammock for those wanting to hammock surf. Or, an outdoor couch!
My place is small. One bedroom and one and a half baths. You are of course welcome to the shower and the products in there if you are staying. Everyone is welcome here - LGBTQ absolutely friendly. No haters' here.

Music, Movies, and Books
I am insane for jazz and blues. Old sh*t on vinyl. I pretty much get along with all music and am known to break out into song frequently, and in public places - also dance parties in grocery stores. Movies - I love all kinds - a lot of documentaries, comedies, thrillers. I'm all over the board on that. Books? Don't even get me started on books. How about mostly ALL OF THEM. Except "A Clockwork Orange" - I really, truly despise that book. Seriously.
Okay, okay. Actually, my favorite book of all time is Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins. I've read it about 20 times, and every time, I feel like I am reading my bible. Which is funny, because it is satirical. Which makes a whole lot of sense. #BandaloopDoctors
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Be loving to everyone I meet. It's my mantra. No, not religious or culty., but we can discuss the subject because I do love it and have studied it out of pure fascination!
Teach, Learn, Share
I am your muse. Superpowers are in business, writing, and ideation, but also in whole life stuff. Meeting is believing, friend. I am loving!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Everything or nothing - I know that people have their boundaries if you are just here to sleep and perhaps eat, I totally understand!
I do have a mouse of a cat - Penelope Pyewacket - and she is not going anywhere, she's purely indoor. So, if you are allergic... I am so sorry. The good news is that I am meticulous about said cat and you will never detect the smell of a cat (you know what I mean. Gross). You will likely smell, however, onions and garlic, and other things that I throw into a pot to feed you with. I can cook just about any cuisine and love to do it. Let's break bread and bust out a bottle!
