Live, love, and travel! Today too soon becomes yesterday. The present is truly a gift.

A Canadian, eager to explore the world, immerse in different cultures and meet fellow couch surfers. I yearn to taste food that excites, dance to music that moves, do art that inspires, and just be in awe of our beautiful world.

Laughter is my preferred language. If you can smile and you can take a good (tasteful) joke, we will probably be good friends in no time.

I have travelled extensively across the Canadian Arctic and most of Europe and am now looking to expand my experiences to the rest of the world.

**As I am a presently a nomad of our humble earth... I cannot host :( But "home is where the heart is," yes? So in that case, everyone is welcome :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

What is true living, without saturation of experience? What better way to experience being alive, than to move about and expose our consciousness to what the world has to offer? Growth and inspiration seldom come from being static, stationary and unchanging. Our bodies are a precious gift to take us on an incredible journey... One that will only reveal itself if the risk is taken to move, challenge and push beyond the familiar. All that said, couchsurfing is a perfect means to embark on this journey and make some meaningful connections along the way.

Interests

Art is my life pleasure. I see it in everything and I love it. I create it with my hands. It is the most accessible indulgence that I have at my disposal. I derive my inspiration from beauty, and I believe that beauty can be seen from any vantage point. I am on the continual search to find inspiration in places where it is least expected.

Food is my life passion. Taste and smell are luxuries we ought to indulge in more deliberately. I am fascinated by all the possible ways that we can nourish our bodies and I am striving to learn how to do this optimally and practice it daily, as well as share it :-)

Travel is my life mission. I want to expose my small and fleeting existence on this planet to as many different experiences as possible. The aim is to always grow, and strive to become a wiser, fuller individual. Large or small, somehow my resulting contributions will feed into the larger universe...

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm open-minded to most music, movies and books. I find value in almost anything that can teach me something I didn't know before; make me feel something that I have never experienced; and or think a certain way that I have not yet considered.

All of this to say that I am non-specific in my tastes, although I do enjoy some old 90s tunes, folk/chill/coffeeshop indie and or a hearty comedy/well-made documentary from time to time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skidoo-ed and hiked across the great Canadian arctic tundra. A word of advice -- White-out blizzards are to be taken seriously! Your warmest toque will have no chance... will probably be whipped off your head and end up at the North Pole.

Marvelled at majestic polar bears in their natural habitat in Resolute Bay -- the second northernmost community in North America. I was in a van. I couldn't help but feel like canned food.

I once slid down a steep mountain face while hiking to explore the Cadomin Caves in the Rockies of Alberta, Canada. I was wearing an aerodynamic suit (aka a garbage bag). I nearly died but was saved by a well-positioned tree.
