Bit of a wanderer currently settled in Ely, MN. I get the travel itch from time to time, but it's nice to have a home base. I've been to Scotland and Japan most recently, and though I can still carry a conversation in Japanese, my fluency level has decreased from lack of use. ここであまり日本語を連中できないんだ。。。

I have a big house for a little person and a cat, and love cross-cultural interactions, language barriers or no. I'm a hard worker, value human compassion, and am absolutely LGBTQ+ friendly.

Followed my childhood dream of visiting Japan, and made dear friends with the tea farmers for whom I worked while I was there. There are three letters sitting on my table from three folks I've kept in contact with, and I'm filled with a warm fuzzy, feeling everytime I think that I really did achieve what little 6yo me dreamed of.
