About Me

CURRENT MISSION

BARCELONA!!!

*Update* Just arrived back to Cologne - Mission accomplished!! :D

*Update* I'm now studying in Budapest for half a year, whoop whoop

ABOUT ME

I am a very nice person! I like hanging out with all kinds of people and making other people happy, makes me happy, too. I can be very quiet but usually unbend after some time and then there is a good chance to have a lot of fun with me - whether it's dancing our feet off at some club or spending hours and hours discussing deeply philosophical questions ;)

PHILOSOPHY

Nothing is set in stone, that's the only thing I learned so far... What's that quote - "change is the only constant in life"?
For me that means to always be open to new people, new views and to treat all of them with basic respect. Condescending opposition won't get mankind anywhere.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Right now I don't have a couch to share, but I'm always happy to hang out and grab coffee, and of course meet people all over the world in their natural environment ;)

Interests

I enjoy listening to good or strange music, dancing, travelling of course, cooking with a lot of people, watching movies all over again after seeing them for the hundredth time, going out with friends and having a drink or two (or three?), swimming and reading every book that comes my way when I'm not distracted by everything going on around me. I also like my studies, which is sociology and politics, and sleeping.

Music, Movies, and Books

Bessie Head: When Rain Clouds Gather, Graham Greene: Our man in Havana, nearly all Dostojewski novels I have read so far.

Black cat, white cat - Cry Baby - Colombiana - Saving Grace - Everything with the minions in it (I am not ashamed! :) )

I will not start with music. There is just too much of that.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Most amazing so far: riding an elephant in Sri Lanka.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I combine Polish and German heritage, with also some Kenyan culture influences and I'm curious about people. So there is a good chance that we will find common ground or, if not, make some!
