Overview
About Me
I am a New Zealander, doing my OE teaching English in Madrid for the next year. Pretty open minded and keen to meet new people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love meeting local people. There is no better way to learn about a place than through the people who live there.
MY COUCH SURFING EXPERIENCE
I started Couch Surfing when I moved to Granada, Spain in 2014 and didn't know a living soul. I went along to a Couch Surfing language exchange and struck it really lucky - in one night I met three of my closest friends in Granada. Since then I've also traveled around Spain, staying with amazing Couch Surfing hosts and meeting locals for the odd beer or three. I'm always so impressed by what kind, generous and interesting people there are out there!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Cooked my lunch in a geo thermal hot pool in Rotorua, New Zealand. Nature at its best! I may be biased but New Zealand is paradise.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can talk with anyone and am forever curious, especially when it comes to new cultures. I like to teach people about my home and that part of the world. I also love to cook and have been told my food is definitely edible - happy to earn my keep that way. I am an English teacher so can even help with English practice if you would like. If you are really really lucky I might even sing for you.
