About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I'd like to learn from experiences rather than text-books. And to be able to ask for beer in numerous languages...
ABOUT ME
I like to think I'm fairly easy to talk to, and decisive in the things I do (unless I'm hungover, in which case the only decision I will be making is whether to open ANOTHER packet of crisps!)
I'm definitely a city kinda gal about 80% of the time, I love the idea of places to go and things to see at any time of the day and night! But I do love being in the middle of nowhere as well and some of my best holidays have been in tents with not much else around!
Good food is something I love (who doesn't?!) but something I just can't magic up myself!! I need a recipe book by my side constantly, and would love to be one of those brave souls who just throws things into the pan and it comes out perfectly!
I LOVE it when a plan comes together, and I love it even more if I was the one organising said plan! Especially when the plan involves joining a group of people together who "click"!
I've worked in hospitality for about 7 years and love it- the hours are long and unsociable, and sometimes people can be mean when they've had a bit to drink, but it's taught me plenty! Mostly how to read people pretty well, and I think I can hold a conversation with most people about most things! "If someone isn't nice to their server, they're not a nice person!"
It annoys me more than it should when people walk sloooooowly in busy places.
Or when people walk out of a shop and then STOP. But I keep my cool!
I love big nights out, but I also love rainy days in watching movies and eating, or sunny days outside, walking (and eating.... There's a theme to the things I like!). I love a mountain (metaphorically, and literally!) and have been up Snowdon and Ben Nevis (which may not seem much, but I was about 9 and 11 respectively and I think that's pretty damn cool!) and just love a good old walk in general!
I think I've covered a fair bit.... I should probably stop now, else I won't have anything to talk about if I meet you 😉
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I'm going to the states for three months and would love it if anyone could show me around and offer some insight, local knowledge! Unfortunately no couch available at the moment, but I plan on moving to Bristol when I get back, and I'll be offering sleeping space there!
