I'm 69 and still ready for adventures. I like to move around and work at different places, Woofing being one of the options. We have a big house and can accommodate quite a number of people because all 4 children now live on their own of course.
Organic food, caring for a common vegetable garden in the village and planting trees are some of our occupations.
My husband founded an organic cooperative 40 years ago, it's still working. But he was an English teacher. I taught German, my mother's native language.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

J'ai l'intention de voyager un peu plus et souhaite m'engager comme hôte avec autant de plaisir que comme invitée. Mon mari ne voyage pas en ce moment, il s'occupe des poules, des arbres fruitiers et de plein de choses utiles sur place.

I intend to go on discovery tours again, now that I don't work anymore, and I'll be just as happy to receive guests as to being at other people place. I can also come at a period when they need extra help for whatever reason.

Livres politiques, de sociologie et de psychologie (formations à la Communication Non Violente/ Marshal Rosenberg, très utile lors de mes dernières années d'enseignement et tout aussi utile dans la vie privée), romans, essais...

Short: classical background (I lived 8 years in Vienna in Austria) for music but I don't know the name of all the different styles I've listened to in the last years.

Non-Violent Communication was an important step in my life and for the last years when I taught, it made everything so much easier.
