i welcomed only good friends of mine until now... sometimes for several months.
i used once couchsurfing in china and it was a very pleasant adventure (for the people i've met)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

have seen the sun rise while looking Sagarmatha (Mount Everest), in Nepal many years ago
have camped some days in the yellowstone national park, which gave me an amazing sense of freedom, power and beauty of nature
