Travelling overland from Copenhagen to Romania to do an internship in nature conservation (career change)

ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly, social and outgoing person who loves to travel, meet new people, discover new cultures and learn new languages. I love being out in nature - walking, cycling, swimming in open water and playing Ultimate Frisbee! I love watching live performances -whether music, theatre or dance. I'm very active and always like to pack lots in and make the most of the opportunities that present themselves to me.

-Working on justice and policing issues in conflict-affected countries; strengthening the capacity of civil society
-Watching and promoting documentaries
-Practicing and teaching yoga
-Playing ultimate frisbee

Grabs my attention:
-Non-violence and peaceful acts of resistance- different communities coming together to stand peacefully for their rights
-Growth of collaborative consumption- solidarity between people, sharing what one has, reducing consumption etc.
-Innovative ways of living in symbiosis with nature, protecting the planet and preserving the environment.
-Beauty of the natural world -whether the coast, mountains, desert plains

-Seeing a sky of stars from horizon to horizon in whatever direction you look on a clear night in the North of the Central African Republic but also in the Sahara desert
-Colours and landscapes in Namibia
-Walking the Inca trail and discovering Machu Picchu
