I used to travel a lot, and really enjoyed meeting people, having fun and discovering new countries and cultures. I would like to get new travelling oportunities. I love my region and know it quite well. I would be happy to drive people around, when I'm available. Ideally I'd like this hosting to be both ways. I like the nature, sportive activities, meeting people, having fun, discussing any subjects.

Please note that I'm living in a village 10 km away from Rennes. You'll have to take metro and bus from the station (less than 1 hour).
Unfortunately I'm not always available to drive people around. But if you just need a couch for a couple of nights and have a sleeping bag, that's fine !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people, from foreign countries, because I like to know other cultures. I think the world is wonderful and I want to know more of it. I think I'm here to fully enjoy the beauty of the nature, with my five senses. I find it funny to travel by hosting travelers :-).

I like to travel, I visited a lot of countries. When I'm travelling I prefer to meet local people, because otherwise travelling is more touristic, and we don't learn much about the culture.

I've got free space in my house (from 2 to a maximum of 5 places if we include the sofa), every odd week, preferably from Friday to Sunday, because I'm not working and then I have more time if you need.

I've got lots of time, but not too much money, so if you'd like to contribute to my next trips, you can put a little something in my "Travel Box" :-). For example, 10-20 € if you use sheets and/or towels (because I've got to clean them afterwards), and about 5 € per meal would be fair. Or according to your possibilities and heart !

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Camino del Norte was my last great experience (chemin de Compostelle). But my first big trip in motorbike, from Rennes to Prague, is a fantastic souvenir as well. All my trips were great in fact :-)

And I think I was a precursor CS, because at my 18, I was already travelling a lot, working in London and visiting Barcelona and surroudings, and was always hosted by the people I was meeting !

I'm trying to improve my Spanish at the moment.

But I like every langage, and I'd adore to speak Portuguese and Italian as well.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Rennes is located in the center of Britanny.
Rennes is a beautiful middle size city (about 300 000 inhabitants), with many students, and some preserved medieval houses and streets.

We are about 100 km away form the North coast of Britanny (St Malo), the south coast of Britanny (le golf du Morbihan), and from the touristic wordwild attraction Le Mont St Michel.

I'm walking a lot, and I know many fantastic spots from the Valley of our main river la Vilaine.

I'm climbing as well, and know local spots.
