CURRENT MISSION

I'm learnig Finnish and I want to learn Norwegian and Italian, other languages are also interesting, Icelandic, why not? I want to see as much of the world as possible, my desirable destinations are mountains and Nordic lands but I'll enjoy every travel!

ABOUT ME

I'm a student of Finnish Philology in Poznań. When I was a child I wanted to be a writer but being a translator would be great as well. Don't ask me why I chose Finland and Finnish cause I don't know, you cannot choose what you love. :)

Im also a volunteer of Tatra National Park, where I collect rubbish. Mayby it's strange but actually I'm on holiday and I protect the environment at the same time :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm intrested both in being hosted and hosting the others. I'm really into the idea and it would be a pleasure to host and get to know you! However, please notice that I'm a student and during summer holidays I'm very often out ;)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was hosted for one night in Finland and it was a really positive experience. It's so much better than spending a night as an anonymous guest of a hotel! My host was a great person, she showed me a part of her city and I felt almost like at home in her flat. Hope I'll meet her again!

I also hosted 4 people and all of them were really nice guests. I have learned sth from each of them and I hope that one day I'll meet them again.

All in all I believe that each meeting with CS people is a valuable experience, doesn't matter if you're a guest or a host.

Interests

Finland and Scandinavia, fantasy books, DIY, folk and metal music, travelling, skiing, mountains. Probably mountains are my greatest affection and as I live in a flat area I always miss them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love books and sometimes they make me unable to do anything than read. I read different ones but funtastic books always come back to me, usually my native polish ones but i like also some foregin popular authors like Tolkien and N. Gaiman.
And ofc. Moomins!
I like movies and I love cartoons but I'm not cinema expert. I like f.e. Marvel movies as well as psychological ones. Recently Totoro is my memorable one.
As to music, metal and folk are lovely.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Finnish language summer course in Vaasa!
It. Was. Awsome! The best people in the world in one place and, in addicion, in Finland!

Also volunteering in the mountains is an amazing experience for me. It's unbelievable how one can mantally calm down doing something useful for the Earth. I highly recommend it to everybody.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you some DIY and a little Polish language... if you are brave enough to try to pronounce it :) And If you are from Poland I never stop talking about Finnish and languages...
I can also tell you somthing about volunteering in the mountains and discribe you how cool it is and encourage you to take part in something like this ;)
