I would really enjoy if something smart and witty was in this place. But it is not meant to be. On the other hand it would be very odd to be able to concentrate ones life philosophy in a few lines!

I have had a phase of doing alot of surfing, than a little bit of hosting, and now I had a longer break because I wasnt traveling and I live in an appartment that did not allow hosting under comfortable conditions.

Interests

I am interested in politcs, south america, Music (try to do it actively too) , cinematography, cooking and sports that nobody else watches. I am currently trying to be a little bit more green, became a vegetarian and tried to avoid some of the habits I have collected over the years.

Music, Movies, and Books

This all might sound a little pretentious, but I actually just like art that moves me emotionally or makes me think, it does not matter how sophisticated it is.

Movies: yes,I like. I have seen so many. so many were great. But more weren´t. I enjoy very creative ones. Favorite Directors: Darren Aronofsky, Terry Gilliam, Jean-Pierre Jeunet, Kubrick, Jim Jarmusch, Werner Herzog, Michel Gondry, Quentin Tarantino, Coen Brothers, David Lynch ...
But it does not have to be all artsy farts, sometimes I enjoy a good action flick or a stupid trash movie.
Books: my favorite writers are probably:Hermann Hesse, Fjodor Dostojewski,Franz Kafka. I am not the greatest Literature expert, but I do read a couple of books every now and then.

Teach, Learn, Share

I have some knowledge about personal lifestyle and it´s consequences on humans and nature and some personal creative ideas on how to do some things differently than the common consumer.

I have some half-knowledge about music as I play a little guitar.

I can cook a number of vegetarian dishes.

I have some pieces of paper that say I am a political scientist, so I suppose I do know a few things about that field.

I like to learn about anything, which does not involve too much mathematics, or technical understanding, or spatial visualization, because I am an absolute idiot in those fields.
