Hi! my name is Miao-Shan, which should include two of the Chinese tones, so just feel free to call me KC (from Casey, the English name my teacher gave me when I was six). I didn't mean to make my self-intro begin with such a complicacy, but you know, it's not always easy to pronounce Mandarin even though its grammar is the easiest on earth. And yes, we speak Chinese (Mandarin) in Taiwan, where I was born and lived for 22 years.

Mediocre Taiwanese student, lacking specific interest, I has chosen to learn French at college by accident. Then I started an endless advanture. So far so good though it wasn't my dream. I keep trying to renavigate my life, which is no more than a journey, but the goal is still pending. Alright, "la vie est ailleurs," right?

Couchsurfing is a wonderful idea, and hopefully, we have trust in this world. I really appreciate it.

Interested in history, languages and art, I never limit my journey, that is, I'd love discovering the world in different ways and sometimes, I even explore without any goal. I just enjoy everything encountered. Maybe that's why I prefer to know the local language each time I travel.

I'd like to have a deeper contact, experience the local life, and make friends with heart and soul. Friends, like books, enrich my life and never bore me, so I'd like to spend time trying to understand. In search of the meaning of my life, I cherish every meeting. As "nothing's ever built to last", the moment is true at the moment. Even though the more I traveled, the less I felt in one single trip, I've found that there is somebody waiting to be touched and willing to share either a moment or a place with me. What's more, everyone comes with an unique story. And that has made all the difference.

Now still living in dorm (a simple room of 10m²), unfortunately, I cannot host surfers.
