Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I haven't officially surfed or hosted yet. My husband is opposed. I'm trying to convince him it is a good idea. I like meeting new people. I've been supportive when other local friends have hosted folks from couchsurfing.org - met some great folks.

Music, Movies, and Books

yes! I like movies and music and books. Amelie is one of my favorite movies. So is Braveheart. and the Planet Earth series from the BBC is excellent. Books: I haven't met many books I didn't like. Music: Rupa and the April Fishes, Abigail Washburn and the Sparrow Quartet, Michael Franti & Spearhead, the Ditty Bops, Pamplamoose, and so, so, so much more.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I spent a month in Iceland one rainy, cold summer with Farland Fish, hiking and hitchhiking and camping and soaking in hotsprings and watching the sun not set.
