About Me
I am a mermaid!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'd like to explore other cultures, get to know other people's customs, ideas, passions. I've only just started my experience with Cs, but it's already surprisingly positive. I've travelled around Hungary, mostly the Balaton Lake, catching last rays of sun, eating grapes and drinking wine. I've met a lot of kind, hospitable people, what wouldn't be possible if I were staying in a hotel. Cs gives a priceless feeling of freedom and being a part of some generous community that understands money isn't the most important thing in the world. I'm a rather shy person who doesn't trust people, but experience like this makes me change it - and this is one of the main reasons to be here.
Interests
I'm into anthropology, not professionally (yet), though. My main interest is the pre-christian cultures, their vision of divinity and organisation of society, especially from the angle of our contemporary materialistic culture.
I study graphic design, so I like to create graphics. I'm trying to follow the trends and start creating my own style. I also love making linocuts, I sometimes paint.
And, like everyone, I suppose, I love food. I don't eat meat and try not to eat dairy. I love the multitude of colors and tastes that vegetables and fruit provide! However I do accept people eating meat in my house - my boyfriend does it on a daily basis.

Music, Movies, and Books
As for music, I love new/dark wave, folk (especially from the East). I also listen to jazz, classical music... I don't limit myself and I try not to label music at all.
It's similar with books. My favorite author, though, is undoubtedly Romain Gary. He is a genius, with his slightly naive, but well-aimed style and extraordinary subjects. I even named my cat after one of his characters.
As for cinematography, I love silent movies, D class horrors and movies in which nothing happens. Nothing at all. Like "Permanent Vacation", which is my favorite, I suppose.
