About Me
Hey there CS folks! Did a stint abroad and traveled solo for almost 3 years and now that I’m back I’d like to stay active still with other CS folks as that’s what saved me when it came to meeting up with folks abroad. Of course meeting local like-minded folks is always a big plus also! When I’m hosting people anywhere in the world I do expect my guests to be independent and not expect me to be a tour guide. I live in the union square area so it’s very walkable and I have lots of bars and restaurants in the areas. I'll gladly hangout with you if my time permits or provide you suggestions or tips if I have any. Also please do not expect me to do a grocery run for you or pay for your meals or activities. I know all of this should be common sense however I have had many CS host friends who have told me stories about how some of their guests thought they were entitled to being catered to. What I have I will gladly share with you. Also my home is a drug-free and smoke free home (by lifestyle and also mandated by building management.). Being a traveler myself I expect everybody to be a responsible traveler themselves. On the flipside, while being hosted, I'm very flexible and easy going and can easily adapt, however I do also want to know what my potential host's expectations are so we both can be on the same page.
**please note I can only host 1 traveler for a maximum of 2 nights during the following times: Fridays after 7 pm through Sundays 8:30 am**
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
