I'm Saskia, student at Wageningen University. I love folkdancing, music, cooking, being creative (recycle art), playing guitar, fine art and travelling of course ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to get in touch with more nice adventurous and open-minded people, and because I have plenty of space and a couch available, I decided to join the CS project!
Besides that I'm interested in sleeping on someones couch, wherever in the world, to experience vacation in a different way. Instead of being the tourist and sleeping in a hostel, I would like to stay at someones couch in order to really 'see' a country/culture from the inside.

Folk (dance) music -especially from the Balkan countries-, i Like Trains, Dalriada, Klapp, Yaron Herman Trio, Amsterdam Klezmer Band, Porcupine Tree, Boards of Canada, Jimi Hendrix, the Beatles, Nina Simone, Sufjan Stevens, I.E.M., Radiohead, Miles Davis, Glenn Miller, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, and a lot more.

Teach, Learn, Share

I try to be creative and productive, as much as possible. Reusing and recycling materials in order to be more sustainable. I can show you how to reuse some household garbage yourself!

If you are from abroad, I can also try to teach you a bit of Dutch if you want. Or I can learn you how you can cook a typical Dutch meal. If you are looking for some typical Dutch delicacies to bring home, I can tell you where you can find them.
